Description
The OXUF924DSa is a high performance solution for bridging between FireWire400, USB2.0 and dual SATA disks. Delivering best in class performance, the OXUF924DSa integrates a IEEE1394a link, USB2.0 device and dual SATA host controllers. Supporting a range of external storage applications, the OXUF924DSa can be configured for dual SATA or eSATA to SATA operation. When configured in dual SATA mode, the OXUF924DSa supports disk striping (RAID0), disk mirroring (RAID1) and disk spanning. For higher speed connections, one of the SATA ports can be configured as a device port, enabling eSATA to SATA applications. The OXUF924DSa shares a common software base with other devices in Oxford’s range of USB and FireWire storage controllers. In addition, Oxford offers a comprehensive support package including evaluation boards, reference designs and a software development kit.
